Digital Product & Technology is part of our E-commerce department. Our in-house design and development team continuously strives to offer the best user experience through our websites and apps, for which we are highly recognized.
Digital Product includes Product Owners and Product Designers. Technology exists out of IT, data engineers and developers.
De Bijenkorf’s Technology team is a fast growing team. Spread over 10 multidisciplinary squads, engineers continuously deliver software of high quality for our webshops, mobile apps and omnichannel applications. In addition we work with a near shore team of developers and a select group of partners to deliver software in an agile way. Several suppliers deliver a key piece of SaaS software tightly integrated with our online environment. Our digital platform runs in the Google Compute Cloud.
Ons tech stack
- React and Redux;
- Unit testing with Jest;
- Integration testing with Cypress;
- End to end testing with Selenium and NightwatchJS;
- Documenting components with Storybook and our Design System (https://propolis.debijenkorf.nl/);
- Our Back End consists mostly of Java and Kotlin micro services and GraphQL endpoints.
